Darel had a quiet day yesterday, lots of napping as his pulse was low.  He enjoyed a visit from Raymond Freeman.  Grand daughter Heather and husband Mike were here for supper.
It was a beautiful sunny day.  The greenhouse just soaked up the sun.  All the little plugs and cuttings that aren't planted yet needed a drink. I'm hoping lots of help today will mean lots of them will be planted.
I always plan a quiet day when I have a doctor's appointment to get straightened out.  I cleaned floor before my appointment.  Vacuuming and mopping are not something I want to do right after I've been put back in place!  Lit Andrew was here why I was gone. In the afternoon I prepared my Sunday School lesson.  It took me quite awhile as I couldn't find any prepared lessons on Ash Wednesday to help me.
I'm not going to talk much about what to give up for Lent.  My emphasis is going to be, " What can we do each of the forty days of Lent for God and what can we do to become closer to Him."   The next couple of months are very busy for me.  I will share with the kids that I'm going to take some time each afternoon, even if it just five minutes, to be in a quiet place and listen to God.  To make sure I am on His track.  Even though i ask His help each morning sometimes life gets me off track!
Some sun is shining through the clouds to warm the greenhouse.  The birds are here having breakfast.  Darel is awake so he wants breakfast too.  I'm expecting a good day, hope you are too.  Sally
