Darel had a pleasant day yesterday.  He did not feel like going to church.  But in the afternoon we took a ride up to the sledding hill and watched watched all the fun from the warmth of the truck.  I'm not good at sitting.  After a few hours I decided to cook myself a marshmallow.  I got out of the truck and had to grab Andrew my legs thought they would just keep sitting!
The big news of the day: grand daughter Ashley caught the second largest fish at the fishing derby.
No Sunday school yesterday, no kids, many families very sick with a flu.  I couldn't help but think perhaps it was just as well we didn't go to church.
In the evening I worked on my late Johnny's order.  I'm trying something  different this spring.  Instead of growing old favorites i'm offering seedlings of new cantaloupe and melons.  Seedlings that have been developed for our colder climate.  Problem is the seeds are so expensive I have to charge more for a hill of cantaloupe or melon.  The extra fifty cents a hill isn't much when you think of the baskets of cantaloupe and melons Heather grew for the stand last summer.
Today is forecast to be a cold winter day.  perfect for redoing the vines around the front window.  Enjoy your day, Sally
