Darel was blessed with five very good days in a row while his sister was here.  Yesterday wasn't so good.  He was comfortable but very slow..  We went for a ride in the morning why Rachael was here.  The chaplain came for her weekly visit in the afternoon.  In her summery notes she said she noticed some slowing down and some confusion.  In the evening we took a longer ride to our grand daughter's.  He loves to ride but didn't want to get out of the truck at Heather's.
I picked zucchini, yellow squash   heather picked a few cabbages and we dug some red potatoes.  So the stand is open.  I dug a few garlic and decided it wasn't quite ready.  Anyone want some fresh garlic scapes?  they are free in the stand.  I cut done a patch of nettles and buried them in the compost pile.  I did some other cleaning up of weeds and moved some mums.  We'll be movings mums around to give them plenty of room most every day.  They want to be in the sun and have lots of room so that they are bushy, not tall.
Today I'll try to get all the berries picked before the rains start.  Have a good day, Sally
