A simple "Good Morning" or "Have a nice day" or "I love you" goes a long way so I'm sending all three.

WSW breeze, a high of 30 and a low of 13. A quite week is forecast for the week of February 12 with temperatures in the high twenties and lows in the teens. Some snow showers the end of the week.
Darel had a good day yesterday. A visit from the nurse and the chaplain helped the time go by.
We got about 3 inches of wet snow. Walking on the ice was much easier last night. Knowing that ice was under the snow i still wore my spiked boots. The CNA just called to see if we needed her this morning. The roads are so bad she didn't want to drove to Bradford if we could get by without her. We can.
I did get my orders in yesterday. I won't know for certain on an addition nursery order. The sales rep thinks i can combine with a greenhouse in Dover to get plants that only are shipped in containers. The minimum container order is $3500.00. I don't want to place that large an order. But there are some plants customers want that are only shipped potted. I'm hoping that works out.
I didn't get anything else done. First thing this morning I'll be getting trays ready to start seeds. With the cold windy forecast i'll leave then on the island where the cook range can keep them warm.
I put lots of seed in the protected feeders yesterday. Others I left empty. The wind will blow them horizontal so the seed will spill out. i keep reminding myself that the same winds that are so cold now keep the black flies away in May.
Have a good day, Sally
PS No groundhog is sticking his nose out here. Even if he wanted to he is iced in with snow on top of the ice!
