Three inches of snow, a west breeze at 15 degrees. Freezing rain mid morning will quickly change to just rain with a high of 45 and a strong east breeze. A low of 33 tonight will be tomorrow's high as west winds bring in colder air in the afternoon with a low of 5. Sunny Thursday with strong NW breezes, a high of 15 and a low of 0 Sunny Friday with a NW breeze, a high of 20 and a low of 6. Cloudy Saturday with a brisk SW breeze, a high of 38 and a low of 30 Rain/snow showers Sunday with a WSW breeze a high of 39 and a low of 24. 6-12inches of snow Monday with a WNW breeze, a high of 33 and a low of 16. Slowly clearing Tuesday with a strong NW breeze, a high of 20 and a low of 10. Sunny Wednesday with a Nw breeze, a high of 32 and a low of 22. Snow showers all the next week will give some more snow cover. Temperatures will be seasonal.
Darel had a good day yesterday. He decided he was tired of just oranges and Mike had bought him some shrimp. So we went on a fruit and shrimp run for a change.Visiting on the phone helps the day go by and yesterday was a good enough day so he was able to do some phone visiting.
I stocked up on baking soda, white vinegar and printer's ink. I'm going to do spring cleaning and work on display cards the next month. Today I'll finish the 2ed Johnny's order. I tried chalkboard contact paper for some signs last year and that worked pretty good so I'll use more of it this year.
I haven't seen the big flock of finches for a few days. That is ok with me. They scare away the chickadees and junco's why they are here, eat a lot of seeds and spill a lot because their are so many of them. We have quite a few local finches.
Besides a shaking none of our family were affected by the earthquake in Alaska. Coastal towns were evacuated because of a tsunami warning.
Planting perennial and pansy seeds today. I have several hundred pansy plugs coming in for early pansies. The ones I'm planting are for people who have a cool place they want to plant pansies for the summer. Enjoy your day, Sally
