Rosemarie's mother passed away yesterday. Dale is back in the hospital. Rosemarie stayed with him until he fell asleep last night and than spent the night with her father. She didn't want him to be alone last night. mike is letting the dog in and out but Rosemarie is coming home today to check on things. Dale is going to miss an appointment today at a clinic that he has waited a long time for bur Rosemarie thinks a nurse is making arrangements for a doctor to see him that can prescribe the medication he needs. Rose has had more on her plate than any one person needs.
Yesterday morning we heard the sump pump running. No rain so we checked the cellar. The shower was draining into the cellar. Andrew came by last night when he got home from camping and fixed it. The stove was puffing smoke yesterday so Gilbert said to let it go out. He is going to clean the chimney this morning. I cleaned the inside of the stove yesterday.
With some clouds and a lower afternoon temperature i didn't have to do quite as much watering so i was able to clean floors. it was beginning to look like we were getting ready to garden in here. Well maybe not quite that bad but almost.
Little Darel just walked in. His day off so he came up to help Doug unload hay. Doug's hay crew never did show up. they are city men from a rehap center. They are city folk and have been a challenge. Lots of broken bales and the conveyor keeps breaking. I don't think Doug feels too bad about them not showing up.
Not much breeze and only a high of 80 today but I skimped on watering yesterday and didn't do much harvesting so i'd best get busy. Enjoy your day, Sally
