I will respect you whoever you vote for in this political election. Disrespect over voting makes a mockery of democracy and free thinking.

63 degrees, cloudy with a west breeze. A stiff SW breeze today with clouds, a high of 91 and a low tonight of 66. Scattered thunderstorms tomorrow with a WNW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 63. Pleasant Sunday through Thursday with highs in the mid eighties except for Wednesday with a high of 88. Lows will be about 63. Breezes tomorrow will be from the SSW, from the NW the other days. Showers next Friday afternoon lasting into Saturday morning with NE breezes with highs about 80 and lows of 61. A possible afternoon shower next Sunday with a South breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 60. After scattered thunderstorms Monday, the 1st, the rest of the week will be pleasant with highs around eighty.  I question this forecast for today..  A few hours ago the line of storms was going just to the north of us.  Now it looks like to me it will hit us about 9:30

      A very long but productive day yesterday.  The bee keeper showed up about eight and took four supers of honey off our hives.  The extractor has to be set up in a place that the bees can be shut out of.  Our only place is the get together room.  After we got he honey extracted from two supers Tim came back and took two more supers off the hives, replacing them with the supers we had extracted the honey from.  We got a total of 150 pounds of honey.  I only have two twenty-five pound honey buckets and one fifty pound.   Last night I had to bottle up enough so there was room for the cappings to drain into buckets over night.

      All the supers, cappings , pans, extractor and papers off the floor go out in front of the bee hives.  The bees clean the honey up so thoroughly that the extractor and pans aren't even sticky and the wax is clean.  It is too bad i can't take my floor out there for them to clean!  I have an appointment for a hair cut this morning.  When i get back the rest of the day will be spent cleaning floors.

      I have a couple orders for beet greens this morning and we sold out of potatoes yesterday.  So last night I had to dig potatoes and get the orders of beet greens ready.  also some greens for the stand.  We sold out of cucumbers too but Tiffany cleaned out my patch yesterday afternoon.  Unless Gilbert has some we won't have any today.
