A serious fire down Atkinson road last night. The home burned and the owner, James Wellington, was life flighted to Portland's burn unit. I didn't know the man and don't know if there was a family.
We had an extremely busy day yesterday. Even though Debbie often stopped watering to help Rosemarie and I some people had to wait to be helped. We have very nice customers who are not only patient but often help each other. Many customers said they couldn't believe a little greenhouse in the middle of no where could be so busy. This morning Rosemarie will be setting out more flowers why I'm at Sunday School and Church. If customers comes this morning she will be glad to help them but we don't open until I get home from church.
The celery is planted and soaked. I will keep working on setting out soaker hoses. I know some storms are in the forecast but there are no soaking rains. And t-storms often go around us. I have crates of water in the back of the truck to water the church flower box. I'm hoping with the clouds today we don't have to water here.
Have a good day, Sally
