We got 3 inches or so of snow, even three inches didn't seem necessary.  Lots of blackbirds at the feeders all day.  I kept scaring them away for awhile so the cardinals could eat but gave up.  All our "bad weather" finch friends were here eating niger seeds.  Blackbirds can't eat from those feeders.  Rachael planted the impatiens hanging pots and put them on the floor in the head house until we can move the pansies out.
We have room to do a little more transplanting today but we are pretty much in a holding pattern until the weather changes Monday.  We'll put the plastic on the perennial cold frame tomorrow so it will be warming up.
     Have a good day, Sally
