9/22/25  Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is a commitment. It is a choice to show mercy, not to hold the offense up against the offender. Forgiveness is an expression of love.

I came home from church and uncovered the plants I'd protected from the frost that didn't happen up here on the hill.  I didn't see any white at the bottom of my back yard but Gilbert said there was some white in the drainage ditch.  I spent most of the afternoon watching Charle Kirk's memorial.  Today's status is part of my take from his wife's eulogy.
Another load of hay went into the barn. The hay is so thin it takes a lot of diesel fuel and tractor hours for a load of hay.  No mulch hay this year.  We may be banking the house with straw.  We still have some of last year's straw available.  Delivery of this year's straw will be soon, maybe this week.  Jay will wrap the bales in plastic to keep them somewhat dry.  They'll be easier to handle next spring when they will be used for mulch in the garden.  We'll mulch strawberries, the roses and some perennials with straw later this fall.  Fall officially arrives at 2:19 this afternoon.
Pellets are coming this week.  After they come, fuchsias and some other house plants will be sprayed with an organic spray and moved into the garage on their way into the house this winter. By next weekend I'd like to have them inside.
May your day be blessed, Sally
