My church service is at nine so I get home before the others.  Yesterday I had eggs collected and boxed and  the kitchen up before they got home and was watering flowers.  We needed milk and a few other things.  I'd passed some yard sales on the way home from church, so I decided to take the afternoon off.  I got a few hand tools, and scored on greenhouse pots and saucers.  Lots of 600's, the size pot we use the most.  Lots of saucers to put under the fruit trees.  And 5 very large pots with saucers I will use for raised beds.  It was from a permanent yard sale that buys and resells.  I suspect the saucers and pots came from a grow house.
Jay found me a couple 4" pots of rosemary.  I'll pot them up today along with a few other herbs.  I cleaned and renewed one of my raised beds.  I'm going to plant beets and lettuce today.  We'll get beet greens.  If I'm lucky there will be little beets for pickled beets.  So many things can be done in the fall, plus cleaning up the gardens. Darel's Heather saves  seeds, Bekah and I want to try it too.  I got a 100 pack of brown lunch bags for 50 cents at one of the yard sales yesterday.  Perfect for collecting and drying seeds.
May your day be blessed, Sally
