7/24/25  Nothing is all wrong.  Even a clock that has stopped working is right twice a day.

Hay days make for late nights.  Sometimes late nights make late mornings!  The  SSW breeze will be a strong drying breeze today.  It's 68, today's high 88 with sun and lots of clouds. Tonight's low 68.

Perhaps some PM thunderstorms tomorrow, a west breeze, high 83, low 60.   Sunshine Saturday, a NNW breeze, high 84. low 57.  Partly cloudy Sunday, a stiff SSW breeze, high 84, low 62.Partly cloudy Monday, a WSW breeze, high  88, low 64.  PM thunderstorms Tuesday, a brisk west breeze, a high of 86, low 63.  Showers Wednesday, a NW breeze, high 79, low 58.  Mostly sunny next Thursday and Friday, WNW breezes, highs 76, lows 54. Partly cloudy the weekend of the 2ed and 3rd, WNW breezes, highs of 76 and 79, lows 55.  Pleasant the next week with highs about 80.
Eggs are collected, chickens are fed, hummingbird food is cooling.  1 one cup of sugar stirred into four cups of boiling water.  I doubled the recipe because the hummingbirds and all their little ones  are coming to the feeders.  There are lots of blossoms on the bee balm and honeysuckle vine.  There are purple waves and other flowers in bloom. Are they coming to the feeders because it is dry?
First cutting of hay will be finished today.  The cow barn haymow will be full.  Hopefully the horse barn will have so much hay in it that there is just barely room for second cutting.  If we don't get rain there won't be a very good crop of second cutting,  Soaker hoses are running steady.  This morning it is the fall mums turn.  About 500 cucumbers were harvested yesterday.  The timing is good, green beans and cucumbers are coming on just as first cutting finishes.  Dilly beans and pickles anyone?
May your day be blessed, Sally
