No hay went in the barn yesterday, it went to customers. Today many loads will go in the barn. They butchered 22 meat birds last night. Weeds are still growing. Sun and stiff breezes mean lots of watering, Jay's mornings are spent harvesting. Yesterday the swarm of bees was right over the empty hive, checking it out.
I had a short visit with my pemphigoid doctor. I have to see her annually even if I'm in remission so that if I have a relapse so serious I need her I'm an established patient. So far I've been able to call her for a prescription when I've relapsed. I went to Hannaford and Sam's. I didn't have to unload anything, loading it was enough! I did put lots of it away why they were butchering chickens.
Warm weather is in the forecast but swallows are lining up on the wires and the first round of egg collecting is a little later because the sun is getting up a little later. The chickens are going to bed a little earlier. There are no lights in the haymow so they have to quit mowing hay a little earlier. Fledglings are coming to the sunflower seed feeders. The tiny hummingbird fledglings are coming to the hummingbird feeders. I'm going to put a couple more feeders out today.
PT today, lunch at my sisters. I'll pick blueberries this afternoon. I'm hoping to cut the bamboo shoots that have grown back. Anywhere I wasn't able to mulch, they find the light and sprout up. It takes a couple of years to use up the food in the roots.
May your day be blessed. Sally
