Yesterday was very pleasant. Church in the morning, in the afternoon the family joined together for a baby shower for Tiffany and Evan.
Barbie and Gilbert's yard is always beautiful, it was extra special the way Rachael decorated it for the baby shower. Tables of good food, Rachael's Evan at the grill. (We have Rachael's Evan and Tiffany's Evan.)
A beautiful day. Eggs are collected, hummingbird feeders washed and refilled, breakfast eaten. I'm going to work in the kitchen garden why it is cool. Putting down cardboard and mulch. And continuing the bamboo battle. This morning I found two hiding in the bee balm patch! We have decided to put containers of flowers in the empty spaces. We'll live with it this summer, taking our time deciding what to put where. We haven't decided what we'll do about the dogwood tree. Let one of the suckers grow into a new tree? What will be sun, what will be shade in the future?
May your day be blessed, Sally
