Clear, NW breeze, 60 degrees.  A brisk WNW breeze with a high of 80, sunny.  Rain tonight with a WSW breeze, a low of 57.  Morning rain tomorrow becomes partly cloudy later in the day.  A high of 81 with a strong WSW breeze, a low of 61.  Partly cloudy Monday with a south breeze, a high of 87, low of 67.  Sunshine Tuesday with a stiff west breeze, a high of 97, low of 67.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a north breeze, a high of 83, low of 59.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a NNE breeze, possible showers, high of 71, low of 54. Showers Friday with a n ESE breeze, high of 71, low 54. Still some showers next Saturday morning, cloudy in the afternoon with a SSE breeze.  A high of 70, low of 58.  Mostly cloudy next Sunday and Monday with brisk SSW breezes, highs in the upper seventies, lows about 60.  Scattered thunderstorms July 1st with a SSW breeze, high of 79, low of 61  Partly cloudy Wednesday the 2ed and Thursday the 3rd with WNW breezes, highs about 79, lows about 59.  Morning fog July 4th, afternoon sun.  A SW breeze, high of 81, low 59.  Partly cloudy Saturday July 5th with a SW breeze, high 82, low 61.

    .17 inch of rain yesterday.  Much of it came down very hard for  just a few minutes at a time.  Just enough to get everyone  and everything wet.  Strong winds would dry things out in between spurts of rain.  We didn't get much accomplished.

    I did get some more bamboo cut.  slow going as it has come up tangled in the winterberry bushes.  today i have to go through the places where we started cutting it and cut off the new suckers coming up from the roots.  Much of it is now mulched but the suckers find there was to the perennials and reach for the sun.  Bamboo is a slang word used around here for Japanese Knotweed.  Everyone else spent the day weeding-or drying off because they didn't get to the shelter of the greenhouse on time!

    We've all been so busy no one has even put the new firepit together.  It's on today's list so we can sit around it with the kids this evening and make smores.
