Yesterday was a pleasant day, though any time the breeze died down the black flies showed up. I didn't get much done outside. I went to the bank in the morning. When I came home I had a message that the doctor wanted me to go to the hospital and have some blood work done. She wants to have the results before my appointment tomorrow morning. They checked me in and forgot me. I didn't complain, they had several disabled patients come in that needed extra care. I think they got overwhelmed. But it shot my afternoon. Jay and Bekah tried to put up a new clothesline. The tightener from the old clothes had lost its ability to tighten. Why I was in Dover I got a new one. Now we can hang clothes outside. Maine has the 3rd highest rate of electricity in the nation so we want to use as little electricity as possible. The old clothesline had broken a few times.
There was a steady line of customers. In between helping customers they moved plants to places where they would harden off. Jay checked the bees. They seemed to be fine. They will love today's weather. I will too, so will the black flies. This may be a day I give in and use bug repellant.
May your day be blessed, Sally
