Signs of spring are everywhere. Red buds on the soft maples, different shades of green as tree buds swel. Forsythia in bloom. And Country Junction loaded with inventory. Rows of fruit trees to choose from, shrubs fpr the backbone of our yard with a beautiful selection of perennials and annuals to plant. Plus two greenhouses of hanging baskets. The forecast says it is time to start planting vegetables. There are seeds in the store, seed potatoes and onion sets in the vegetable stand and vegetable plants in the greenhouse. There are asparagus roots , strawberry plants, rhubarb plants, blueberry and raspberry plants. Little League practice is another sign of spring. Jordn and Chiara are coaches, Mike is an umpire.
Gilbert's daughter Rachael is getting her Master's at the UMO. Part of her journey to her Master's was working as a teaching assistant to the professors in her department. There are 28 assistant teachers. At the department end of the year dinner Racheal was awarded and recognized as the best teaching assistant. An honor that came as a complete surprise and meant a great deal to her!. Plus it will look great in her resume!
We don't really need this afternoon's and tomorrow's rain but perhaps it is a good thing. Bekah has a fit bit type watch. It told her she was over doing her cardio training, she needed to schedule a day of rest. May your day be blessed, Sally
