We ran out of propane yesterday in the new greenhouse.  Valley Fuel was here quickly.  We now have new gauges on all four of the 300 pound propane tanks.  No, the new thermostat that quit and the gauges were not made by the same company.  Just to be safe they are going to stop by every Friday instead of us calling them when the gauges say we need propane.
The cole crops have already germinated.  Yesterday Bekah planted several different seeds.  Today she is planting our cucumbers.  Jay plants our cucumber plants in black plastic.  Then he puts wire hoops covered with remay, a protective ag fabric, over them.  The thin fabric lets in sunlight and rain but protects the plants from the wind.  The temperature is about 4 degrees warmer under the fabric.
The black birds that have learned that if they knock the feeders around enough they can spill seeds, have chased the little birds away.   I won't fill the feeders this morning.
May your day be blessed, Sally
