A beautiful day yesterday, the first day of spring break. No school and lots of mud puddles meant wet clothes and dirty floors. The kids took their boots off at the door but there was water in the boots. Or they went barefoot, can't take their feet off! . Bekah cleaned floors last night and I started doing laundry.
The weather brought lots of customers. Bekah had to convince some of them that night time lows in the high thirties, low forties meant the flowers would do better in the greenhouse or cold frame this week. The goal yesterday was to get the onion plants planted. They did get them all planted.
Not sure what is on today's to do list. First thing for me is to go fill the bird feeders. Even though I'm not putting feed in any of the feeders the blackbirds like there were a lot of them around yesterday. Lots of other birds are coming to the feeders too so I'm going to fill the tube feeders. And a feeder Andrew gave me that the blackbirds can't even knock seed out of. May your day be blessed, Sally
