What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.  Jane Goodall

Everything is white, coated with snow.  About 3 inches.  It is calm, cloudy and 25 degrees,  A strong WNW breeze today with some sun this afternoon.  Today's high 30, tonight's low 20.  Sunshine tomorrow with a WSW breeze, a high of 47, a low of 29.  Cloudy Friday with a SSW breeze, a high of 49, a low of 30.  Light rain   Light late Saturday, Saturday evening, overnight and Sunday.  A NE breeze Saturday with a high of 44, a low of 35. Partly cloudy next Wednesday and Thursday with strong WNW breezes, highs about 46, lows about 31.  Partly cloudy next Friday and  Saturday  with brisk WSW breezes  Highs about 54, lows of 37.  Mostly cloudy Sunday the 20th with a NNW breeze, a high of 50, a low of 37.  Mostly to partly cloudy the next three days with NW breeze, highs of 56, lows about 40.

Looks like winter out there.  We're looking forward to the breaks of sun forecast for this afternoon.  Some breaks of sun will mean the propane furnaces in the freenhouses can take a break.  This last day of winter my plan is to take my tax stuff to our accountant.  Ocean State has outside rugs on sale.  I want to get a new one to put under the picnic table.  The plan is for it to come out of the barn this weekend.  The grill has already been moved out.
The girls spent yesterday transplanting.  As much as we would like to see some sun, cloudy days are good for transplanting.  They don't have to cover the little plants to protect them from the sun's rays.  By tomorrow the plants will have recovered from transplant shock and the sun will be good.  Bekah and Doug are delivering hay today.  Jay will be making sure the greenhouse doesn't get too warm if we have several breaks of sun this afternoon.  That strong WNW breeze in the forecast is already shaking the snow off the trees.
May your day be blessed, Sally
