Yesterday was a cold raw day, the kids asked me to start the front room stove. But it was a pleasant day with church and visiting. Jay's parents came up, Jay and Bekah enjoyed showing them through the greenhouses. Azalea's grandparents but they are an extra set of grandparents, all the kids run to give them hugs when they come.
It may have seemed chilly and raw to us but the grass grew, the lawns will need to be mowed. When I look down in the water I think I can see the water lilies growing. When the kids get home from school I'm going to have them help me clean the maple syrup pan pond in the kitchen garden. The birds drink out of it, they need fresh clean water. I'll put the pump in so there is a spray for the hummingbirds to fly through when they come. They love water fountains. I'll hook up the water today so the hose is there to refill it. We have two warm days to work on the ponds. I'd like to get the pump in the garden pond too so there is more oxygen in the water for the frogs. We can hear the peepers in that pond at night.
May your day be blessed, Sally
