Spring seems so late but soil temperature is right where it should be.  Peepers started peeping just a few days later than last year.  They found a place in the garden dry enough to till so they can plant the onion plants.  Gilbert has his trenches dug for the asparagus when it arrives.  He is planting 200 crowns.   Bekah will have crowns to sell.  Most people plant 15 or 20 crowns.  The asparagus crowns  come with the strawberry plants, arriving the first week in May.  Fruit trees come next week.
Maundy Thursday meals last night,  Good Friday services tonight.  Celebrating Christ rising from the grave Sunday with church, Easter egg hunt and family dinner. School spring vacation next week coincides with all the nursery deliveries.  Our kids will have a busy vacation.  We are thankful to see the warmer forecast.
May your day be blessed, Sally
