I hope yesterday was the last gasp of winter.  Tuesday's rain is supposed to be warm.   As cold as the rain has been there is some green showing in some lawns.  I hope that white stuff out there is gone by noon.  Maegin woke up to ice out on Boyd Lake.  The turning point in our weather.  The sun is trying to break through the clouds.
This week is the cut off date for our large nursery order coming from Minnesota.  All of the shrubs and fruit trees are trees that will do well in our weather zone.  The order leaves Minnesota Easter night.  Berries, orders from other nurseries and perennials we grow are all hardy enough to grow well here.  Bekah chooses many that will do well in colder zones north of here.
We believe our skunk was a male skunk who has left looking for a mate.  Today, before he decides to bring her back here Jay is skunk proofing the place he dug out.  Skunks in the barns are ok, they are better at hunting rats than cats, but we don't want them around the house.
May your day be blessed, Sally
