Jay has gone after potatoes.  Last evening we got an email saying customers could start picking up their orders at nine this morning.  He wants to be first in line so he can get home and plant.  Soon as he gets home we'll all stop what we are doing and cut up potatoes.  It is best to let the cut edges dry but with all the rain forecast for this weekend our planting window is very short.  Whatever he doesn't get planted today will have to wait for the soil to dry out some.  That will be the middle of next week when the two large nursery orders are coming.
Jay fertilized the blueberries yesterday.  The soil is sweeter than it should be.  We have some organic soil acidifier that I'm going to try to put around each bush why they are planting potatoes.
I'm thankful we have such a beautiful day with so much to do.  May your day be blessed, Sally
