3/16/25 Practice the pause.  When in doubt, pause.  When angry, pause. And when you pause, pray.

Cloudy, dense fog, calm, 37 degrees.  A stiff south breeze today with overcast skies, a high of 58 degrees.  Rain after midnight with a strong south breeze, a low of 52.  Rain tomorrow will become a wintery mix late tomorrow night.  A brisk SSW breeze with a high of 54, a low of 33,  Morning clouds/afternoon sun Tuesday with a stiff north breeze, a high of 48, a low of 29.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a SE breeze, a high of 54, a low of 35.  Cloudy Thursday with a strong SE breeze, a high of 51, a low of 39.  Rain Thursday night.  Rain Friday with a strong NNW breeze, a high of 44, a low of 25.  A wintery mix Friday night.  Partly cloudy Saturday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 44, a low of 28. Partly cloudy next Sunday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 46, a low of 29.  Partly cloudy next Monday with a brisk west breeze, a high of 46, a low of 32.  Rain/ snow showers next Tuesday with a stiff south breeze,  a high of 49, a low of 37.  Showers Wednesday the 26th with a stiff WSW breeze, a high of 49, a low of 34. Clouds through the weekend of the 29th and 30th with stiff WNW breezes, highs in the low 40s, lows about 29.

    We now have power in the new greenhouse.  The electrician has to pick up a switch, install it and the furnace will be all set to start.  Just in time to move plants on Tuesday.  That will make room for  the heat loving plants that are coming via Fedex Wednesday.  The peppers are almost ready to transplant.  It is time to plant tomatoes.  Even though they will be moving plants out of the first greenhouse it will quickly fill back up.  That greenhouse climate will be geared for heat lovers.  Both greenhouses will be full of hanging baskets.  Mostly wave petunias but also a nice selection of ivy geraniums and fuschias.

   The pansies will go in the new greenhouse but not for long.  They love cool spring days and we are all hungry for their cheerful blooms.  They will be ready to go outside for Easter.  Even years that Easter is earlier they usually can go out.  This year Easter isn't until April 20th.
