The notice came last night, "Our truck will deliver six boxes of plugs and cuttings Monday between three and five PM."  The greenhouse will quickly fill up with trays of green. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Perhaps they will still be planting seedlings in trays Friday, it is such a large order.  The plan is to start the furnace in the new greenhouse about March 24th because the plants will outgrow the first greenhouse.  There will be twice as many hanging plants this Mother's Day.
Our first call for landscaping advice came in yesterday.  The call was from away.  She has bought a home in Dover Foxcroft that has no shrubs or flowers.  She is going to take some measurements and make notes of the position of the sun.  She wasn't sure what direction her front yard faced.  I talked to her on the phone, Jay and Bekah will plan with  her in person.  Jay wonders if she knows what she has for soil.
Jay and Darel worked in the new greenhouse yesterday setting up plant tables and benches.  The only heat was the sunshine, they were working in T shirts and complaining about the heat.  Especially when they walked from the greenhouse to the house.  They froze even with winter parkas and hats on.  We had lots of wind yesterday.  When they were in the greenhouse they noticed some wind damage, nothing serious but it needed to be fixed.  They were talking about how hard the wind blows here on this hill.  I reminded them that the wind is our friend in May and June when it blows the black flies away.
May your day be Blessed, Sally
