The sun is shining, the breeze has died down, it has warmed up to -1.  I turned up the pellet stoves, the house is up to 64.  There is enough snow cover so we don't have to worry about frozen pipes in the cellar.  We have another ton of pellets coming tomorrow.  I have to remind myself that thanks to the wind we are several degrees warmer than down over the hill.  And that same wind blows the black flies away in May.
I'm not sure what we got done yesterday besides chores. and running out of eggs.  It warmed up a little so everyone went to the store and stopped by for eggs.  I kept back enough to make muffins when I get home from church.  Longer warmer days will increase egg production.  Our groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter.  The government weather forecast says this month and March will be slightly warmer than average.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
