The big news of yesterday was the eclipse.  The second headline was the traffic.  Never have I seen so much traffic here.  The temperature dropped eleven degrees but when the sun shone it warmed back up.  It wasn't cool long enough for me to have to add heat for the chicks. I was able to go to Bangor and home without getting involved in any of the traffic.  I took the back way home.  I wasn't about to get in the northbound traffic on the interstate.
The snow is gone, the mud is not.  The load of hay was delivered.  The Coast of Maine order came and is all stacked. Jay and Bekah are taking today off, visiting Jay's parents.  Days off will be few and far between in the next few months.  Darel's Heather and I will take care of the greenhouse.  It will warm up quickly with the sun.  I'll take care of the chicks.  As the day  warms up we have to adjust their heat. so they are just warm enough.
It is a good day to have a good day!  May God bless and care for you, LS
