There was more sun than forecast yesterday. Sunshine seems rare this month even though temperatures have been above average. After next week's seasonably cold weather temperatures warm up but still no sun. The plants need sun but the greenhouse backroom and cold frames can be opened a week early. Gilbert will be able to stop bringing his seedling in from his greenhouse every night.
I had a good doctor's visit. On the way home I stopped by Lynne and Tom's for a few minutes. Tom is doing a little better and enjoys a visiter for a little bit. He is frail and tires easily. When I got home I took the ad for the town newsletter to the town hall and got dump tickets. With spring cleaning and moving we have more trash than we can put in the dumpster. Bekah planted a few more seeds, transplanted and water baby seedlings and Jay took down the outside Christmas tree and decorations. It is time to start getting ready for the supplies coming the first week in April.
Several blackbirds flew into the feeders. Including a red winged blackbird the had white where the red should be. Some of his other feathers were white too. From now on I only will put suet out in the suet feeders that make the birds fly underneath to eat the suet. The black birds can't do that.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
