With daylight I see fog. And once again an empty live trap that has been moved all around so the cat food would fall out. Tonight I am going to slide the trap into a large garbage bag leaving only the door open. The crows are noisy this morning.
Much of my yesterday was spent straightening out the order book. Most of 2022 got tossed. There are a few we keep because we forget what kinds of plants we bought. Some notes about ones we didn't and did like got transferred to the positive and negative pages. Bekah looks at April 22 and 23 supply orders to make sure she isn't forgetting anything. I found the list of how many 4 inch pots of squash and cucumbers plants we started stuck in the order book. Never would have found it there. Jay is going to plant an extra row of cucumbers this year, the new variety.
It is overwhelming but exciting to have all the plant orders coming in the next two months put together. Looking at them is making the next 12 days drag. Once the greenhouse fires start there is no time to be overwhelmed. Even for me and I'm not doing much anymore.
The older hens have beautiful new feathers but aren't laying many eggs yet. Bekah and I read an article saying adding sunflowers seeds to their diet will jolt them out of their molt. Today they will start getting a treat of sunflower seeds.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
