8/819
Hugs matter.  one hug from the right person will take all your stress away.

No thunder woke us but we got .74 inches of needed rain overnight.  Now it is foggy, calm and 66 degrees.  Showers and thunderstorms are forecast through this evening with scattered thunderstorms over night. There will be strong SSE breezes with a high of 72, dropping to 63 tonight. Partly cloudy tomorrow with a west breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 56.  Scattered thunderstorms Saturday with a brisk west breeze and a high of 69. Clearing Saturday night with a light west breeze and a low of 53.  Sunny Sunday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 57. Partly cloudy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid seventies, WNW breezes, and lows in the low to mid fifties.  About the same next Thursday but there is a chance for a lated day shower.  Partly cloudy next Friday, Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid to upper seventies and lows in the mid fifties.  Partly cloudy the week of the 19th with highs about 80 and lows about 60. It is raining hard now.
Another comfortable, quiet day for Darel.  We enjoyed visiting with heather and Mike at the Creamery.  On Wednesday they meet us with vegetables to restock the stand.  Occasionally Mike comes over on a Monday because Sunday the stand had a lot of customers but With what vegetables i have filling the stand Wednesdays and Fridays seems to work well.
Sally Jo and I cleaned up around the heat nut trees and old farm machinery yesterday.  She pulled the weeds growing in the perennial pots and ran the tractor. taking many buckets of weeds to the compost pile.  After she left I pulled a bucket of weeds out of the front flower garden.  The area Sally Jo and i cleaned up hadn't had any attention but it seems just a few weeks ago i weeded the front garden.  I disturbed a nice big frog when I was weeding by the farm machinery.  And there are dozens of frogs about the size of a fifty cent piece in the garden pond.  I'm happy to see them.  Perhaps their absence has been due to a late spring.
Rain has slowed down again, we got another tenth of an inch in the last few minutes.  I'm mostly planning on inside work, maybe some mulching during breaks in the rain.   Sometime I'll need to pick squash and cucumbers or they will get too big.  Have a good day, Sally
