7/5/19
Telling someone they are appreciated is one of the kindest things we can do.

Sunny, calm and 71 degrees.  Brisk SW breeze today with sun and a high of 92 degrees, dropping to 66 tonight.  Scattered thunderstorms tomorrow with a WSW breeze, a high of 87 and a low of 57.  Sunny Sunday with a north breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 53.  Monday through Thursday next week will be mostly sunny with highs about 82, mostly NW breezes and lows in the high fifties.  Showers next Friday perhaps lasting into Saturday morning with south breezes.  A high Friday of 74, Saturday's high 78 with lows of 62.  Possible scattered thunderstorms the next six days with highs in the low eighties and lows in the low sixties.
Yesterday went well.  We went to Andrew's to watch the boat parade,  Andrew wheeled Darel's chair to a good vantage point.  Lil Andrew's Ayden, age two, took my hand as we walked back to the house to help me watch for cars.  When we got in the yard he dropped my hand and said, "You're ok now."  In the evening we went up to Gilbert and Barbie's camp to watch fireworks,  Gilbert's and all the others around the lake.  Once again Darel's chair was pushed right to the edge of lake for perfect viewing.
I dug out some more grass and weeds and planted a few more flowers, mostly I watered. I left the hose dripping into the garden pond.  The lilies and frogs were happy to have it full.   Watched the temperature get up to 102.  That didn't help my ambition a lot.  Today will be about the same.  The yard is full of wagon loads of hay.  They are mowing them this morning why it is a little cooler.
I'm cleaning my stove this morning.  Andrew is cleaning the chimney this afternoon.  A good day not to have a fire.  Hot or not I'm  expecting a pleasant day, hope you are too.  Sally
