Darel made it through a very long and emotional day thankful he could share honoring and saying goodby to Mary with family and friends.
Mary's service was beautiful. It was held at the Charleston church, the largest church around and not everyone fit in. Barbie, Gilbert and Amy and Rob's other friends and neighbors did a marvelous job with the get together at Rob and Amy's last night. Thankfully the weather was nice until the sudden downpour as things were winding down.Darel and i were leaving, thanks to Gilert's help we only go damp, i think he got wet!
Today we'll try to get back in the routine. i spent enough time watering this weekend, plus the rain , so we won't have to water. Lots of weeds to be pulled, raspberries to be picked and perhaps cucumbers. Maybe I should have picked raspberries Saturday but at 97 degrees with a stiff breeze all I did was water and help get flowers ready for Mary. Pleasant weather for working today.
Have a good day, Sally
