Darel's day went well with us going to Corinth to water flowers, go to the bank, pick up prescriptions and on into to Bangor for more errands.
The exciting news here is that the last patch of nettles is on the compost pile along with a few scattered ones i found.  Nettles can't be weed whacked, they will get revenge.  I cut each one by hand with care.  After they go on the compost pile i hunt for burdock to put on top of them to make sure no seeds mature.  there was a burdock in the strawberries that filled the tractor buck and then some.  Some of the root had been missed when it was dug out in the spring and it regrew with vengence.  I will have to keep after it.  Today heavy cardboard and hay will go on the nettle patches.
The front part of the barn is full of hay so the flower boxes are all back in place.  Looked so nice when we drove in last night!!  Now to get other spots looking like that!  Always a work in progress.  Have a good day, Sally
