Darel had a good day yesterday. I was inside all day cleaning house so it was less boring but his TV kept getting interrupted. I guess cleaning is hard work, I slept until six! Now he is waiting for breakfast!
Cleaning house doesn't make for an interesting blog but it sure makes getting up more pleasant. No one was here yesterday but with Tammara and Sally Jo both here today I'll be able to finish planting. I'm planting the few watermelon that are left, Sally Jo can make a mini hoop house over them. Where the gourds are getting planted so late I think some of them will go under remay.
Today is the day the vegetable plants we have left are free. I suspect this spring's every weather is going to show up as higher prices in the grocery stores this fall. If some one has a bit of extra space free vegetable plants may help the budget next fall. Much better than putting them on the compost pile.
Have a good day, Sally
