6/23/19
Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.

Clear, light NW breeze and 59 degrees.  A NW wind today with a high of 80 and a low of 50 tonight.  Sunny tomorrow with a NNW breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 48.  Mostly cloudy Tuesday with a stiff SSE breeze, a high of 76 and a low of 55.  Possible showers Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.  Cloudy Wednesday afternoon with a high of 71 and a low of 48.  Scattered Thunderstorms Thursday morning with a south breeze, clouds in the afternoon and a high of 77.  partly cloudy Thursday night with a low of 50.  Scattered thunderstorms Friday with a  west breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 59.  Scattered thunderstorms Saturday with a WNW breeze, a high of 76 and a low of 59.  Occasional showers next Sunday lasting into Monday morning.  A NNE breeze next Sunday and Monday  with highs of 72 and  lows of 56.  Pleasant  Tuesday, the 2ed, with a chance of a thunderstorm each day the rest of the week.
Darel had a pleasant day yesterday.  He spent quite a bit of time at the greenhouse, walked out once, and a ride to the Creamery last night.
A quiet, pleasant Saturday.  Enough breeze so the bugs weren't much of a problem until mid afternoon.  Then the bug net came out.  Some watering and lots of weeding of perennial pots.  Checked the wood chuck holes.  Don't know where the woodchucks went but the used kitty litter seems to have caused them to leave.  I put up a sign asking people to park to the side so others could get by. Wouldn't think you'd have to ask people not to park in the middle of the drive way!  I guess when things slow down people think no one else is will be coming.  Sally Jo put up the sigh, "Please blow your horn for service."  As things slow down we are able to work out in the gardens or perennials .  With yesterday's wind we weren't hearing people drive in.
Lots of finches, both gold and purple,  in the kitchen garden.  Some wood peckers and nut hatches join them at the feeders.  Doves are on the ground eating spilled seeds.  Lots of hummingbirds but I haven't seen the orioles lately.  The hummingbirds like the oriole feeder.
The sun is coming up.  Everything is a beautiful green with all the rain.  Doug says there is standing water in the fields.  He has a lot of hay down.  Today's warm wind will make a good drying day.  It also means I need to do some watering before church and some more as soon as i get home.  Have a good day, Sally
