Darel had a quiet day yesterday with good numbers and no swelling. Even with good numbers he was tired. Pastor Cindy is here from New Hampshire so it was a good day.
I had a pleasant day visiting. Minnesota warmed up enough so the clematis greenhouse offices were open. I was able to place my order. They are sold out of several varieties but they had most of the kinds I wanted. The clematis i ordered are good in zone 3, some in zone 2. The ones sold out are only good in the warmer zones. This winter's up and down weather says that it wise to plant a long lived vine like clematis that is hardy.
One large flock of grosbeaks came yesterday. The other one shows up on bad weather days. It is very flighty, taking to the air if there is movement at the window or a truck goes by. If I take out more seeds it is gone. The local flock takes to the trees and is back eating by the time I get in the house and look out the window.
Enjoying a beautiful sunrise and planning on a good day. Hoping yours is good also. Sally
