2/1/19
Life is better when you cry a little, laugh a lot and are thankful for all you've got.

We have gained an hour of day light since December 21st.  Although we can expect some moderation in temperatures February is a winter month.  Regardless of what Phil says tomorrow.  Today is clear in North Bradford with a west breeze and -1.   The sun has gotten strong enough so we can shut the pellet off for awhile when it is shining in the windows.  With a stiff west breeze and a high of 17 it won't be off very long.  The breeze will die down tonight with a low of 0.  Cloudy tomorrow with a WSW breeze, a high of 19 and a low o 3.  Mostly cloudy Sunday with a gentle west breeze, a high of 26 and a low of 18.  Cloudy Monday with a light WSW breeze, a high of 38 and a low of 31.  Rain Tuesday with a SSW breeze, a high of 43 and a low of 22.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a brisk NNW breeze, a high of 32 and a low of 10.  Mostly cloudy Wednesday with an east breeze, a high of 29 and a low of 25.  Snow showers next Friday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 33 and a low of 6.  Partly cloudy next Saturday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 17 and a low of 3.  Sunny next Sunday with a WNW breeze, a high of 22 and a low of 9.  Lots of scattered light snow showers the week of the 11th with highs in the twenties and lows in the single numbers.
Darel had a quiet day yesterday, comfortable with no interest in going anywhere in the cold.  He enjoyed a visit from Limey.
The grosbeaks must have heard me complaining about how many of them there were and talking about rationing seed.  Only one flock of about 25 showed up yesterday.  Usually there is another flock sitting in the trees why one is eating.  Not yesterday.  Some red polls were with them.  Did the cold winds keep them in the woods?
My day was much the same, lots of greenhouse work and some housecleaning. I did my Sunday School lesson.  I'm hoping temperatures will have moderated enough in Minnesota so I can call in my clematis order today.  Today I will be planting seeds.
     Enjoy your day, Sally
