Darel had a good day yesterday with his numbers right where they should be. Some of the selling in his feet went down. He enjoyed riding to Bangor with me to get printer ink. He is still napping a lot even with 12 hours of sleep at night.
The rest of the letter is printed and mostly folded. I got half the address labels on. Our post offices close at eleven so i don't think I'll get them mailed until Monday. At least it is still January! As soon as I get the letters done I need to type up the fall mum order and send it. It goes email so I don't need an open post office. We did the order last fall why mums were fresh in our mind. I just need to make sure the varieties are all available.
I spent some time at the kitchen window yesterday watching the red squirrel chase the two gray squirrels away from the feeders. The blue jays are the only ones the red squirrel doesn't bother, they will gang up on it. And I cheer them on!
On our way to town we saw kids skating in their driveways. Shiny ice everywhere until we got to Bangor. Dot trucks in several places shopping holes so water would drain away. I made a nice thick ash path to the horse barn and Quonset hut. Doug rode around the driveway roughing up the ice with his skidder chains.
Lots i want to do today. Enjoy yours, Sally
