Very few burdens are heavy if everyone lifts.  Amish proverb.

Cloudy, calm and 26 degrees.  Freezing rain is forecast to start shortly changing to rain about 9AM.  A SSW wind today with rain, heavy at times, a high of 48, dropping to 24 tonight.  Clearing after midnight with a high of 29 tomorrow, a WSW breeze and a low of 6.  Sunny Saturday with a light west breeze, a high of 19 and a low of 8. 1-3 inches of snow Sunday with a SSE breeze.  Partly cloudy Sunday with with west breeze and a low of 21.  Partly cloudy Monday with strong WNW breezes, a high of 23 and a low of 3.  4-8 inches os snow Tuesday and Tuesday night with NE breezes, a high of 26 and a low of 23.  Still some snow flurries Wednesday morning.with stiff WSW breezes, a high of 34 and a low of 4.  Partly cloudy next Thursday, Friday and Saturday with stiff west breezes, highs about 15 and lows about -2.  Snow showers the week of Feb. 3rd with highs in the teens and lows in the low single numbers.
Darel enjoyed going to lunch at church yesterday and a visit from the Raymonds in the afternoon.  His feet are very swollen and he is napping a lot.
JR bucketed the snow away from the greenhouse.  He was surprised at how much snow there was.
I worked on the letter.  I'm out of ink.  I expected to runout but didn't get more because i had no idea how much i would need.  I'm pleased with this new printer, does well ink wise and copies nicely.  We are planning to go to Bangor after the storm changes to rain and before the high winds.  I am folding the letters that are printed.  I can do about 130-140 an hour.  Stuffing envelopes is next.  Why I'm doing it I'm thinking about this years displays.  Soon as it is done I'll start on display cards.  Some I can just make new cards from last years.  Others I want to change or I have new plants.
I've lots to do in the greenhouse but not when highs are in the teens.  The big greenhouses that have already started must be shelling out lots of money for fuel  When I look at those low temperatures I remind myself that the long range forecast says April will be warmer than average.  I'm hoping today's warm temperature and heavy rain does't cause some people problems.  I'm sure there will be large puddles on the roads.
A notice just came up that I don't have internet.  Cars are going very slow.  Our power hasn't flickered.  I'll send this when i can.  Have a good day, Sally
