1/14/19
There are seven days in a week and someday isn't one of them.

Calm, clear and 0 degrees.  Sunny today with a gentle NW breeze, a high of 23 and a low f 7.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with a NNW breeze, a high of 27 and a low of 9.  Morning clouds Wednesday with afternoon sun, a SW breeze, a high of 33 and a low of 0.  Sunny Thursday with a NW breeze, a high of 13 and a low of 1.  3-5 inches of snow Friday with a WSW breeze and a high of 29.  Clearing Friday night with a WNW breeze and a low of 6.  Mostly cloudy Saturday with a NW breeze, a high of 16 and a low of 2.  A strong winter storm may bring us 8-12 inches of snow Sunday with strong north breezes, and a high of 9,  10-20mph north winds Sunday night on the back side of the storm with a low of 5.
Strong NNW breezes next Monday with sun, a high of 15 and a low of 3.  Sunny next Tuesday with NW breeze, a high of 18 and a low of 6.  Partly cloudy next Wednesday and Thursday with NW breezes, highs about 25 and lows about 9.  Another winter storm is predicted for Friday, the 25th and the weekend.
Darel had a good day yesterday, Sunday School and church in the morning and a football game in the afternoon.  Gilbert watched the game with him and the right team won.  He isn't as strong as he was before this last dip in the roller coaster but he is still getting around, just slower and needs more help getting in the truck and in bed.
In six weeks there will be fires in the greenhouse stoves and I'll be getting ready for boxes of plugs and cutting to arrive.  Maybe I'll have been able to move the plants out from the house.  Maybe I'll be waiting to use the boxes the shipment come in to move them out.  Usually when we have January weather in January we have February weather in late February and March weather in March, not January weather in March like last year.  We'll always have March snows but I can do without the low temperatures when the fires are trying to keep the greenhouse warm.  We"ve gained about twenty minutes of sun in the afternoon.  The sun is strong enough so that afternoon when it shines in the windows we shut the pellet stove off.  Maybe not for long today, the cold is seeping into the house.
This is the week of the winter letter.  A good week to be mostly inside!  Enjoy your day, Sally
