The most beautiful way to end one year and start another is with a grateful heart.
Cloudy, calm and 12 degrees. Partly cloudy today with a light SW breeze and a high of 32. 1-3 inches of snow tonight, a low of 25 and SE winds. Rain tomorrow morning, ending in the afternoon. NW winds move in as skis clear and the high of 40 drops to 5 Tuesday night. Sunny Wednesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 18 and a low of 4. Morning clouds/afternoon sun Thursday, a light west breeze with a high of 26 and a low of 15. today there is a change in Friday's forecast-no snow. Friday's forecast is now for partly cloudy, a SW breeze with a high of 35 and a low of 21. Saturday's forecast is for partly cloudy skies, a NW breeze with a high of 33 and a low of 19. Possible snow showers late Saturday evening. mostly cloudy Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 35 and a low of 18. Pleasant the week starting next Monday, but cold. Brisk NW breezes, highs about 20 and lows in the single numbers. Snow showers possible for the weekend of the 13th and 14th.
Darel had a good day yesterday. Sunday School and church in the morning and a good football game in the afternoon.
Despite the cold Andrew and Andrew reroofed the south side of the ell over the kitchen yesterday with metal roofing. One of the valleys had started to leak.
I napped early in the afternoon. Our tree skirt is a fuzzy one Tiffany gave us when she was little. I used gray tape to clean it up for next year. Doug told me they make lint rollers for jobs like that but I had tape. That was as far as I got taking down the tree. I decided i'd rather work on seed orders. I really need to take the tree down and move the table back in. it is time to slip more plants. Next week I start seeds. Besides the tree isn't drinking any more water so it is starting to dry out.
Have a good day, the beginning of a new week and tomorrow we start a new year. Sally
