Farmers are environmentalists.  There is no livelihood without the land.

Clear with a light west breeze and 10 degrees.   Sunny today with a high of 21 and a low of 11.  1-3 inches of snow tomorrow morning, rain in the afternoon.  A brisk SSE breeze with a high of 38 and a low of 34.  Clearing with WNW winds Saturday with a morning high of 43, dropping to 6 Saturday night.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a NW breeze, a high of 21 and a low of 11.  Mostly sunny Monday, New Year's Eve day, with a light WSW breeze, a high of 32 and a low of 24.  Morning snow showers New Year's Day with a NW breeze, a high of 36 and a low of 22. Partly cloudy Wednesday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 26 and a low of 5.  Sunny next Thursday with a light WNW breeze, a high of 22 and a low of 9.  Partly cloudy next Friday with a west breeze, a high of 28 and a low of 11.  Sunny next Saturday, the 5th, with a WNW breeze, a high of 28 and a low of 12.  Light snow showers the next five days.

     Darel had a busy day yesterday with a visit from both the nurse and physical therapist.  Late in the afternoon we went to Sam's for ginger ale and V8 juice.

Darel thought I should go to some after Christmas sales.  He likes sitting in the truck people watching.  i pointed out that even sales took money.  I guess i live a sheltered life.  I had no idea what "Pioneer Women" things were all these ladies on FB were so happy to get for Christmas.  Darel knew, he thought I should check it out at Walmart.

     Today the sun will rise two minutes earlier than on the 21st and set 3 minutes later.

      I vacuumed and mopped the floors.  Noticed how cold the bathroom floor is.  That rain took away all the snow banking the house and there was north wind all day.  Gave Carol the pan of fudge I made her.  Divided the other pan up into sandwich bags for anyone that wants it.  Neither Darel or I need it!  Did the Sunday School lesson.
