Darel had a good day yesterday, lots of napping. We went to the lunch at church. All that napping and early to bed he is up early and had breakfast. Waiting for the CNA now.
Yesterday was cool but dry. I spent a lot of time cleaning up from last week. We cooked lobster over a wood fire. I spent a long time cleaning the pan, one of my large canners. I now have stacks of dishes and pans waiting for their owners to claim them. I did have some customers doing last minute gardening. I have some of my own I want to do. Not today. Today we'll sit by the fire and work on next years orders. And be thankful for the rain, the streams and ponds are so low.
I talked on the phone to Darel's sister. they live in NC and are ready for whatever Michael brings. I visited back and forth with a friend in Alabama, they had a rough night. They are ok but glad the wind is dying as part of their roof is peeling back. It was a new roof so they didn't think they needed to be concerned. They have a mess of branches to clean up but are thankful there are no trees on the house. no idea when they will get power back.
Have a good day, Sally
