Darel had a good day yesterday. After I closed I had to go to the church for some things for Sunday School today. We went to the Creamery, they still had a few flavors of ice cream left so we had one more cone for the season. Any ice cram left last night will go in our church freezer for the senior meals.
A pretty sunrise as the temperature drops another degree. As of four yesterday Country Junction became self service. Though I had customers until four thirty. And two more customers when we got home from Corinth. And Sally Jo waited on one why we were gone! A dozen or so mums left of the 300 we started with. Lots of winter squash, carrots, peppers and potatoes. Some pumpkins left, plenty of the small white painting pumpkins.
Customers all parted with wishes for a good winter and "We'll see you May 4th, the Saturday before Mother's Day. one customer spent about an hour walking through the perennials, said she just didn't want to give in to "end of the season". My order for boxes of cutting has to be in tomorrow. I'll start the fires February 22ed, the boxes will come the last week in February.
Have a good day, Sally
