Darel had a good day yesterday.  Not only Sunday School and church but I gave in and we went to Bangor late afternoon.  I got up and cleaned the pantry and put pears away at 11:30 why he was asleep.  56 pints.  I filled  two milk crates with more the wind knocked off Saturday.
But I didn't get up early to get started canning them.
I'm hoping we can get by tonight without a frost around the house but out in the garden.  I'll probably pick tomatoes and peppers today.  the pink tomatoes will ripen in the greenhouse and I have an order for green tomatoes.  My family prefers green tomato mincemeat to real mincemeat.
    Have a good day, Sally
