  Calm, clear and 41 degrees.  Later this morning because i wanted to get a canner of pears on and off the stove early since we leave for Sunday School at 8:30.  Sunny today  with a WSW breeze, a high of 67 and a low of 36.  Sunny tomorrow with a NE breeze, a high of 57 and a low of 34.  Frost likely in the low lying areas.  Rain Tuesday afternoon and night.  A high of 61, a SSE wind and a low of 54.  thunderstorms Wednesday with a stiff SSW breeze, a high of 71 and a low of 53.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a NNW breeze, a high of 66 and a low of 45.  Possible showers Friday afternoon with a SE breeze, a high of 63 and a low of 48.  Sunny Saturday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 65 and a low of 40.  Some clouds next Sunday with a brisk west breeze, a high of 59 and a low of 40.  Showers for Monday, Oct. 1st. with a WNW breeze, a high of55 and a low of 44.  Showers Wednesday and Friday for that week but the weekend of the 6th and 7th should be pleasant.  Highs will be around 60 with lows in the low forties.

   Darel had a good day yesterday.  I close at four Saturdays so we went to the church and I took up the begonias and planted mums.  When I finished  we went to the Creamery.  Sunday School and church this morning.

   As soon as i get home I'll put on another canner of pears.  than i'll go pick up the ones the wind blew off and start on them.  I have pints of pears everywhere in the kitchen.  Since Darel get out to church Sunday we stay home Sunday nights.  I'll rearrange and clean the pantry and get them put away.

   Lots of mums left yesterday but there is still a nice selection of mums that are just starting to bloom.  They will look good most, if not all of next month.I think a low of people will lose their annuals the next few nights.  Chances are we won't frost around the house but I'll bring in some impatiens and cover the others. I think the fuchsias and petunias will be ok and the flowers against  the house.  I hope!

   When i wasn't helping customers I was working on house plants.  They are all in the house or greenhouse.  the house needs rearranging but they are in.    Just under the wire.
