Church was good yesterday. They serve us Communion as Darel doesn't want to try to walk up but he was able to stand for most of the hymns. A quiet afternoon in the front room with the air conditioner. In the evening we went up to the lake with Gilbert. Gilbert though he could take him out in the party boat as it is almost level with the dock. But even with help the small step down was more than Darel was up to trying.
I spent the afternoon cleaning up the front of the house garden. It isn't done yet which gives you an idea how bad it was. It was choked with a weed new to me. I really have to watch that corner. Silage spills off the laded trucks in the fall as the make the corner. Often a new to me week shows up there. That corner is the only place I've ever seen dock on the farm. so far I've managed to cut it before it seeded.
Doug took care of the skunk. Not too much smell. No sign of the wood chunk yesterday. I did not leave the trap se last night, I don't want to catch another skunk.
Another day with lots I want to do. Tomorrow and Thursday are supposed to be very hot. We are closed Wednesday and I'm not planning to do anything but water. Enjoy today, Sally
