Although the nurse said Darel's blood pressure was higher than usual and his pulse was low Darel had a quiet , comfortable day yesterday. In the afternoon we took a ride for some chicken feed. He had a very restless night and is still sleeping. I'll have to wake him soon as the the CNA will be coming.
A dusting of snow on the grass last night. it is just beginning to rain. The temperature dropped to 31 so i cracked the hose a bit. It may not be pleasant out but the finches were up early at the feeders. By the time the grackles get up they are ready to go rest for awhile. I saw one female redwing black bird yesterday.
Brian and I got two thirds of the hanging petunias pruned yesterday. It sure is an easy job with Brian bringing me the baskets to prune and than hanging them back up. Usually as we do them some are moved to the back room to give each basket more room but not this year. Brian's other job keeps giving him more hours. He is down to three days a week and gave notice for the end of the month. Lil Andrew is picking up the slack.
Time to wake Darel up. Have a good day, Sally
