Light north breeze, light wintery mix, temperature has come up a degree to 29. Two forecasts, one says wintery mix until early afternoon, the other says until six this evening. I'll go with early afternoon. A high of about 33 most of the day with the temperature rising late evening . Strong east winds with 40mph. gusts and 1-2 inches of rain tonight. Showers tomorrow morning with a stiff SE breeze, a high of 51 and a low of 33. Afternoon showers Wednesday and Thursday with NW breezes, highs of 47 and lows of 32. Possible snow showers Friday morning with a north wind, a high of 43 and a low of 29. Partly cloudy Saturday with a stiff NNW breeze, a high of 51 and a low of 29. Sunny Sunday with a north breeze, a high of 58 and a low of 32. Sunny next Monday with a high of 62, WNW breeze and a low of 34. Partly cloudy next Tuesday and Wednesday with highs about 61 and lows about 38. A brisk SSE breeze Tuesday, a west breeze Wednesday. A few showers possible the next five days, mostly partly cloudy with highs near sixty and lows about 40.
Darel enjoyed Sunday School and church yesterday with no problems. He was very tired in the afternoon. I think his cold is a little better, he slept flat in bed for three or four hours before starting to cough and going to the recliner.
I just went out and put wood on the fires. A light rain, walking isn't slippery yet. Traffic hasn't slowed down much. i have a load of laundry in and another ready in case we lose power. Finches are at the feeder. The large flock of finches with some red polls and pine siskens mixed in seems to have moved on. only twenty or thirty local finches are left. Which is fine the large flock ate too much! I thought i'd been smelling a skunk by the greenhouse. yesterday Andrew and i spotted a hole dug under the head house on the east side. Apparently the skunk didn't like the moth balls I threw on the west side. People are seeing blue birds. My bluebird house was upside down, Andrew repaired it.
The CNA came early this morning. Now Darel is awake , bathed and looking for breakfast. His pulse is high on one side, normal on the other. his feet and legs are very swollen.
